My new book on greener, more planet-friendly gardening has received favourable reviews both online and in the gardening press. In November 2012 it was shortlisted for the British Garden Media Guild Practical Book of the Year.

One way I would like to spread the word about gardening in a more joined-up, earth-friendly way is to send you occasional emails to let you know when a new blogpost or article is published/republished here on earth-friendly gardener.

The most painless (and paperless) way of receiving the latest updates is by signing up for the earth-friendly gardener newsletter. All you need to provide is the email address you would like it sending to: just type your email into the box on the top right hand side of this page, and hit ‘subscribe’. You will then automatically be asked to complete the sign-up process (which is also painless, and you get to see some gorgeous ‘Golden Sweet’ pea pods and flowers on the way…).

Anyone who signs up for the earth-friendly gardener newsletter between midday on 12th November and midnight on 15th December, 2012 will have their email address entered into a draw to win* a signed copy of How to Create an Eco Garden: The Practical Guide to Greener, Planet-friendly Gardening.

You can unsubscribe from the earth-friendly gardener newsletter at any time. The qualifying period begins at midday on 12.11.12 GMT and ends at midnight on 15.12.12 GMT. The winner’s email will be drawn at random from all new sign-ups, and the winner will be contacted by email and asked to provide a postal address to which the book will be sent. Should the first winner not respond within 30 days from 15.12.12, another email address will be drawn, which will win the book. The winner will be asked if they would like any message or dedication writing in the book.
