Find Out About Garden Food Growing With Frodsham Transition Initiative on Saturday 8th September 2012

On Saturday 8th September 2012, I’ll be offering advice and ideas on how to grow more food in your garden as part of Frodsham Transition Initiative’s free ‘drop-in’ event which is being held at Frodsham Community Centre, from 1-5pm.

This is an informal, friendly event running throughout the afternoon, where you can not only ask me about food gardening, but also find out what ‘transition towns’ are all about. There will also be information available on home energy saving, a free local honey tasting, details about the Frodsham Orchard Project, and a giveaway of free seeds.

A limited number of copies of my new book How to Create an Eco Garden: The Practical Guide to Greener, Planet-Friendly Gardening, which has a whole chapter on food gardening, will also be available to buy (I can sign them for no extra charge!).

Please consider making a donation to earth-friendly gardener. Even a modest amount (£3-£5) helps to meet the ongoing costs of running the site and allows new content to be added for all gardeners to benefit from. You can donate, safely and securely, here. Thank you.
